Terms of Service

Last updated: October 15, 2026

These terms cover your use of Roll (the app and web experience). By creating or joining a room, you agree to them.

Who can use Roll

You must be at least 13 years old to use Roll, whether with an account or as a guest. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission. If we learn that someone under 13 is using Roll, we'll remove their account and uploads.

What Roll is for

Roll is a private, time-boxed space for a group to share photos and videos from a shared event. It's built for private gatherings and organized events, not for public content distribution.

Your content

You keep ownership of anything you upload. By uploading to a room, you give the other people in that room permission to view it, react to it, and (if the room allows it) download it, for as long as you're a member of that room and the content remains there. You're responsible for having the right to share whatever you upload, including getting the OK from anyone recognizable in it if that matters in your situation.

What's not allowed

  • Uploading anything illegal, harassing, or intended to harm someone.
  • Uploading content you don't have the right to share.
  • Trying to access a room you weren't invited to.
  • Using Roll to build a public audience, follower list, or public feed — that's explicitly not what it's for.

We can remove content, remove a person from a room, or suspend an account that violates these terms. Every room has a report and block mechanism — use it if you see something that shouldn't be there.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Roll infringes your copyright, email support@rollmoment.app with: your contact details; the work you own; the room link and which photo or video you mean; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized; and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you own the rights or are authorized to act for the owner, with your signature (typing your full name is fine). We'll remove material that infringes, tell the person who uploaded it, and close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe. If your upload was removed and you think that was a mistake, reply to the removal email with your reasons.

Room organizers

If you create or organize a room, you're responsible for how you configure it (moderation, guest limits, who can join) and for how you use the invite link/QR code you generate for it.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This removes your personal account data; content you uploaded to a room may remain visible to that room's other members unless you remove it first.

No warranty

Roll is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running and your content safe, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service or that content will never be lost.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use Roll after an update means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
